The setting comes first
We look before we add. A view, a tree or an existing wall can provide the starting point, giving the design a connection to the place rather than imposing a ready-made image.
Our perspective connects what a place is with what it can become.

Eating outside, reading in the shade, welcoming friends and growing herbs call for different decisions. We begin with the activities you would like the garden to make possible every day.
A small number of carefully chosen materials creates continuity. Samples and visual references help us discuss colour, texture and the relationship with the existing architecture together.
Plants will not stay as they appear on the first day. Spacing, mature dimensions and seasonal changes are considered from the outset, alongside the care that the planting will need.
Each stage brings a different choice into focus: layout, materials, planting or details. The process makes alternatives easier to understand and keeps the design close to the agreed priorities.
